Registration Pyramdie

General Rules:

"Joto loves the challenge: Get to know yourself better, it doesn't matter if you win or you loose!"

Voluntary, informal,internal Joto activity for adultes One draw for women one for men over 18 years

The first objective is to have fun to meet other Joto members and to improve your tennis game

Good sportsmanship (fairplay is expected)

Beginning of september to end of june

At the start of each season the placements will be randomly drawn. New players will start at the bottom

Each player must give his mobil-, or phonenumber and an e-mail adress wher he/she can be easily reached to set up matches

The players are responsible for organizing their matches Only meetings, that are taken specially for the Pyramid, count

Les matchs durent normalement 60 minutes y compris les 10 min. d'échauffement. Au cas où le court ne serait pas réservé pour l'heure suivante et d'entente entre les 2 joueurs, la partie peut continuer pour 30 ou 60 min. Le gagnant est le joueur qui totalise le plus de points à la fin de la partie.

Normally matches will be played for 60 minutes, with 10 minutes warm-up. If, by any chance, the hour after your shedules time is vacant and if both players agree, you can continue for another 30, or 60 minutes. The player with more games at the end, wins

The choice of balls is up to the players

Match results should be given maximum 2 days after the match was played to Tore by e-mail (maybe find a solution on the side selfmanaging)

If a player fails to show or cancels without giving 24h notice,he will loose the match.

SA player may only challenge another player up to 2 rows above his current position. For exemple, if you are ranked in row 3, you can challenge players from row 2+1

If a challenger wins the match, the challenger takes his oponents position, while the oponent drops down to the challengers position. The player, who lost the match can rechallenge the player after 1 month. However he is able to challenge another player before.

UThe Pyramid referee is Tore Meinecke. He maintains the pyramid standings, interprets and enforces the rules and settles disputes

The players should make all possible attempts to shedule the match at a convenient time

The challengee must respond to a challenge within 3 days after being challenged and set up a reasonable date and time within 14 days of the challenge.

A player may make only one challenge at a time. A second challenge may be made only after the challenge before has been played. If you are challenged twice, you have to inform the second challenge, that you received another challenge before and that you will play that one first (you have to give the name and date that you play)

You can not accept a challenge, if you have a valid reason, that the referee accapts

If you are absent for any reason for a longer period of time, pleas inform the referee so that arrangements can be made accordingly (such as a note that someone is absent until such and such date)
